Chicken Noodle Pasta

This hearty meal serves six and only requires 40 minutes from prep to table.

Ingredients:
3 large chicken breasts; cubed
4 carrots; peeled and diced
3 celery sticks; diced
1 white onion; diced
16 oz. bag egg noodles
2 tablespoons butter
32 oz. chicken broth
3 tablespoons cornstarch (can use flour instead)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons garlic; minced
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
4 sprigs thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:

Boil pasta as directed on package. Strain and set aside.
Add olive oil to stir fry pan. Place cubed chicken, onion, and garlic in to the pan. Cook on high heat until chicken is cooked. Add in carrots and celery. Cook another 5 minutes until vegetables are tender. Drain the juice and remove chicken mix to a bowl.

In a sauce pan, add in butter and melt on low heat. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a low boil.

Mix together, in a liquid measuring cup, heavy cream and cornstarch. Whisk well. Add to the chicken broth in the pan. Whisk well until it starts to thicken. Once it coats the back of the spoon move to the next step.
Add in thyme, salt, pepper, and turmeric to the gravy. Whisk well.

Mix together the chicken, vegetables, and noodles. Pour gravy over the top and carefully mix not to break the noodles.
